I've had that moment where I had 3 options. Bang my head to the wall, sit silently or bang the head of the person sitting in front of me.
I used to visit skin specialist for my own skin issues. This means I had to wait LONG in waiting area or bribe the workers to let me in first. It's an old tale. I was once in waiting area with others and trying to concentrate on the mute television placed there. The girl sitting next to me was staring at my feet for long. Duh, I ignored her. I was having severe skin itching that my mouth was SHUT properly. She patted my shoulder and said, "You're wearing beautiful sandals."
Wait, what? Anybody can easily notice my hideous skin condition and that girl was complementing on my sandals. I smiled. She asked again, "Where did you buy these?"
Whhhhaaaa? I was unable to talk, I gave her a look of doom but being nice I whispered that store's name. Story ended. My turn to check up. I wanted to choose one of those 3 options above. She might get first aid as we were in a clinic.
The moral of the story is sometimes we should shut up for good. Just don't let the words come outta your mouth. I will never ask someone about her tattoos on her left shoulder if it's broken and wrapped in plaster. It's my way of being gentle. She might wanted to be nice in her way but I DIDN'T LIKE IT & GOT PISSED OFF!
Those shoes are buried in shoe rack somewhere, else I'd have taken a snap. So if you like someone's shoes in clinic, don't ask. She might blog about you.
